Yariv Moravnik Shavitt is an Israeli–American business development and strategic partnerships professional with a strong background in bridging government, defense, and international trade.

He served three years as a combat soldier in the Israel Defense Forces and continued for five more years in the reserves, including active duty in the Second Lebanon War. Following his military service, Yariv held key roles supporting Israel’s security and international cooperation efforts. At the Israeli Ministry of Defense, he managed procurement for Israeli Air Force projects, gaining deep expertise in defense acquisition and cross-border program coordination.

Yariv later joined the U.S. Commercial Service at the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv, where he served as a Commercial Specialist covering the Aerospace & Defense and Safety & Security sectors. In this role, he helped U.S. companies navigate complex markets, facilitated G2G and B2B engagements, and was recognized with a Mission Honor Award for his contributions to strengthening U.S.–Israel trade ties.

Yariv holds a B.A. in Political Science and Communication Studies from Bar-Ilan University, an M.A. in Security and Diplomacy from Tel Aviv University, and an M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from Baruch College (CUNY) in New York City.

Today, Yariv leverages his unique blend of military, government, and international business experience to forge partnerships, unlock investment opportunities, and accelerate growth across the defense and security ecosystem between Israel and the United States.
